Position Title: Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).
Location: Remote, Business Travel.
Reports To: Chief Risk Officer (CRO).
Position Overview:
- The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the compliance programs and policies of Freyr Solutions.
- Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), the CCO will ensure that the company operates in full compliance with all national and international regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements in the Life Sciences sector, and the flexibility to work with global affiliates across various countries and regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Compliance Programs:
- Design and implement effective compliance programs and policies that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain systems for tracking compliance metrics and reporting.
Regulatory Oversight:
- Ensure the company's operations comply with all relevant national and international regulations.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update compliance programs accordingly.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess areas of compliance risk and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Training and Education:
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels.
- Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior throughout the organization.
Investigation and Reporting:
- Conduct internal audits and ensure strong oversight of compliance across the entire organization, resolve any compliance issues and breaches.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the board of directors.
Process Design and Implementation:
- Design new processes and solutions for various departments to enhance compliance.
- Implement innovative compliance solutions to meet the evolving needs of a growing company.
Global Coordination:
- Work collaboratively with global affiliates in various countries and regions.
- Ensure compliance programs are effectively implemented across all locations.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead multiple teams across various functions.
- Encourage new talent and innovation within the compliance teams.
- Foster a collaborative environment and serve as a liaison between the company's leadership and compliance teams.
Customer Interaction and Audits:
- Work with external customers and face external audits from customers.
- Act as a single point of contact for compliance related projects as well as customer interactions on compliance.
- Strong Business acumen to win projects for Compliance related activities.
- CSV Experience on CSV validation process, Ajile methodologies.
- Experience of overseeing compliance of software development processes.
- Guide teams on developing validated software solutions.
ISO Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
- Lead and guide teams in maintaining and achieving compliance with these standards.
- Align compliance efforts with the company's overall objectives.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in the Life sciences industry.
