Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Growth

- Lead, mentor, and manage all Vertical Heads (Sales, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, etc.)

- Develop and execute the company's short-term and long-term business targets.

- Ensure business continuity, operational stability, and resilience across the value chain-from raw materials to finished products.

- Identify growth opportunities across existing and new business verticals, markets, and partnerships.

- Drive existing AOP & build business for future revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.

- Onboarding of large client relationships to meet strategic expansion plan.

- Implement robust policies, SOPs, and internal controls aligned with Mbook's governance standards and organizational values.

- Review operational risks and ensure effective risk mitigation, audits, and corrective actions.

- Drive transparency and discipline in performance reporting and management reviews.

Operational Excellence

- Oversee day-to-day business operations across all verticals to ensure efficiency and scalability.

- Drive process optimization, cost control, and productivity improvements.

- Strong business acumen with end-to-end understanding of multi-vertical operations.

- Proven leadership and people management skills at a senior level.

- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability.

- Excellent financial, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: B.Tech / BE (Metallurgy, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline); MBA or Postgraduate qualification preferred.

- Experience: Minimum 15-20 years in the steel Industry

- Prior experience managing multiple business verticals or P&L ownership is essential.

- Experience working closely with founders/promoters in a growth-stage organization is preferred.

- Industry experience relevant to the company's business model will be an advantage.
