Key Responsibilities:

1. Capital Access, Lender Relationships, and Leverage Growth:

- Build and deepen relationships with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, family offices, NCD investors, private credit investors, co-lending partners, and other debt capital providers.

- Create and execute a 180-day lender access plan designed to double leverage capacity while preserving prudent ALM, capital adequacy, covenant discipline, and regulatory compliance.

- Work directly with the CEO to expand borrowing lines, diversify liabilities, and improve the company's cost and availability of debt capital.

- Present Red Fort Capital's secured lending model, portfolio performance, collateral cover, underwriting discipline, promoter strength, credit rating, and growth plan to lenders and investors.

- Support lender due diligence, data room preparation, lender presentations, portfolio reporting, rating agency interactions, trustee processes, and credit committee discussions.

- Expand access to term loans, NCDs, private debt, co-lending arrangements, BC partnerships, securitization/assignment opportunities, and other suitable liability-side instruments.

- Ensure asset growth is matched by capital availability, lender confidence, and balance sheet capacity.

2. Loan Origination and Business Growth:

- Drive a step-change increase in qualified secured MSME loan application flow.

- Build and manage high-quality sourcing channels across DSAs, connectors, CAs, brokers, banks, NBFCs, industry networks, and direct borrower channels.

- Develop regional and sector-specific origination strategies for secured business loans, LAP-style structures, receivable finance, and working-capital requirements.

- Improve conversion from lead to sanction to disbursal while maintaining strict credit filters.

- Build MIS and dashboards to track sourcing productivity, channel quality, borrower quality, approval ratios, rejection reasons, and disbursal outcomes.

3. DSA and Partner Network Expansion:

- Professionalize and scale a high-performing DSA / referral partner ecosystem.

- Train sourcing partners on credit box, collateral requirements, documentation standards, borrower eligibility, and deal-quality expectations.

- Create incentive structures that reward quality, documentation discipline, and repeatable performance rather than raw lead volume.

- Remove low-quality sourcing channels that create operational noise, weak borrower pipelines, or credit-risk leakage.

4. Credit-Aligned Business Development:

- Work closely with credit and underwriting teams to ensure growth remains aligned with Red Fort's risk appetite.

- Ensure originated deals meet standards for borrower credibility, repayment ability, collateral quality, title clarity, documentation, banking discipline, GST/ITR records, DSCR, and enforceability.

- Avoid unsecured, weak-collateral, poor-cashflow, low-integrity, or purely volume-driven deals.

- Improve sourcing discipline so the business receives better-quality applications, not merely more applications.

5. Loan Lifecycle and Operating Execution:

- Oversee business operations from sourcing to disbursal.

- Reduce bottlenecks across documentation, credit review, legal, valuation, sanction, compliance, escrow, and disbursal.

- Coordinate effectively with credit, legal, operations, accounts, compliance, collections, and technology teams. Drive process discipline, faster turnaround time, and cleaner handoffs across the loan lifecycle.

6. Team Leadership:

- Build and lead a performance-oriented business development and sourcing team.

- Hire, train, manage, and motivate regional sales, sourcing, channel, and relationship personnel.

- Create accountability around targets, borrower quality, documentation standards, lender relationships, and disbursal outcomes.

- Establish a culture of integrity, discipline, urgency, ownership, and measurable execution.

Candidate Profile: Required Experience:

- 12 - 20+ years of experience in NBFCs, banks, secured MSME lending, LAP, business loans, SME finance, structured lending, equipment finance, receivable finance, or related credit businesses.

- Prior NBFC experience is mandatory; candidates with only unsecured lending or pure fintech distribution experience should not be prioritized.

- Proven experience scaling secured loan origination while maintaining portfolio quality.

- Strong existing relationships with banks, NBFCs, family offices, NCD investors, private credit funds, co-lending partners, and institutional debt providers.

- Demonstrated ability to raise debt capital, increase borrowing lines, or support liability-side expansion for an NBFC, SME lender, LAP lender, housing finance company, or secured lending platform.

- Experience managing DSAs, connectors, branches, sales teams, regional lending operations, national sourcing networks, or partner ecosystems.

- Strong understanding of collateral-backed lending, LAP-style structures, business cash flows, borrower assessment, legal/valuation process, DSCR, ALM, covenants, and lender reporting.

- Experience working with lender credit teams, rating agencies, trustees, NCD investors, private credit diligence teams, and institutional reporting processes preferred.
