Role Overview
The Head of Sales - ISC will lead the commercial agenda across the assigned cluster, with full ownership of sales strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion. This role is pivotal in defining regional commercial direction, building scalable sales capabilities, and delivering sustainable business outcomes aligned with a global operating model.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Formulate and execute the regional sales strategy in alignment with overarching global objectives.
- Drive standardization and optimization of sales processes, structures, and governance frameworks to enhance effectiveness and scalability.
- Lead digital enablement initiatives within sales, ensuring adoption of modern tools and data-driven decision making.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-calibre sales organization with strong execution capabilities.
- Provide strategic, technical, and people leadership to direct reports.
- Oversee talent decisions in partnership with HR, ensuring robust succession planning and performance culture across the extended team.
Performance & Resource Management
- Own revenue delivery and track performance against defined targets and KPIs.
- Plan and optimize deployment of human, financial, and operational resources.
- Ensure budget discipline and proactively initiate corrective actions where required.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Develop and sustain senior-level relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure superior customer experience through strong service orientation and solution-led selling.
- Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to drive growth initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with marketing, product, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure end-to-end commercial alignment.
- Contribute market and customer insights to strategic planning, portfolio development, and innovation efforts.
Governance & Compliance
- Establish and enforce internal policies, controls, and governance standards.
- Ensure full compliance with internal systems, processes, and regulatory requirements, including effective documentation and use of enterprise IT platforms.
