Business Head - Digital Investment Advisory
Location: Mumbai
We are looking for a dynamic and growth-oriented Business Head to lead and scale a fast-growing investment advisory and research platform. The role will oversee business growth and profitability across sales, product, and operations, with a strong focus on building a leading digital-first investment advisory business.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of equity markets, digital distribution, and client-centric portfolio solutions, with a proven track record of scaling digital investment platforms or businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Growth & Channel Development
1. Lead and scale digital distribution strategy across:
a. Digital platforms and fintech partnerships
b. Direct-to-consumer (B2C) acquisition
c. Integrated distribution partners with both online and offline presence
2. Build strong digital funnels to drive lead generation, conversions, and client lifetime value
3. Own key digital metrics - CAC, activation rates, engagement, and retention
Sales Strategy & Execution
1. Drive revenue growth across all sales channels through a scalable sales engine
2. Deepen relationships with existing partners and onboard new high-potential distribution partners
3. Build and manage high-performing sales and relationship management teams
Product & Portfolio Positioning
1. Work with investment teams to enhance portfolio offerings aligned to investor personas and market cycles
2. Develop digital-first communication and product collaterals
3. Lead portfolio education and engagement across digital touchpoints
Business Operations & Client Experience
1. Streamline onboarding, execution, and service workflows through broker and tech partner integrations
2. Ensure operational excellence, compliance, and high service standards
3. Build a client-first culture across servicing and delivery
Leadership & Strategy
1. Own the business P&L and deliver growth in a cost-efficient, scalable manner
2. Define and execute short- and long-term strategies to establish the platform as a leading advisory brand
3. Collaborate across investment, compliance, technology, and marketing teams to build a future-ready business
Key Skills & Competencies
1. Proven success in scaling digital investment/wealth businesses
2. Strong understanding of Indian equity markets, retail investor behaviour, and digital customer journeys
3. Strategic thinker with sharp execution and commercial acumen
4. Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
5. Strong grasp of digital marketing, analytics, and product development
Preferred Qualifications
1. MBA / CA with 15+ years of experience
2. Prior experience with an investment advisory, wealth-tech, or broking platform (preferably in a leadership/digital scaling role
