We are seeking a highly qualified and hands-on accounting professional from India to support the accounting, costing, and financial management functions of our businesses in Saudi Arabia: Prevention and Treatment Medical Complex and Sama Alzulfi Recruitment Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities across multiple business entities and should be technically strong in both financial accounting and cost-management accounting.

Required Professional Qualifications:

Candidates should ideally hold:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - ICAI

- Qualified Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) - ICMAI

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field

Strong preference will be given to candidates holding both CA (ICAI) and CMA (ICMAI) qualifications.

Required Experience:

Approximately 5 - 8 years of relevant post-qualification practical accounting experience, preferably at:

- Senior Accountant

- Assistant Manager - Finance / Accounts

- Management Accountant

- Cost Accountant

- Deputy Finance Manager

- Similar hands-on accounting position

We are looking for candidates with strong practical accounting experience rather than profiles focused mainly on statutory audit or taxation.

Key Accounting & Financial Skills:

The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of:

- Complete accounting cycle

- Financial accounting and reporting

- Monthly and annual financial closing

- Preparation and analysis of financial statements

- General ledger management

- Accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Bank, supplier, customer, and GL reconciliations

- Fixed assets and depreciation

- Cash-flow management

- Internal controls and accounting procedures

- Budgeting and forecasting

- Variance analysis

- MIS and management reporting

- Cost accounting and management accounting

- Service costing and profitability analysis

- Cost-center accounting

- Advanced Microsoft Excel

- Financial analysis and interpretation

The candidate must be able to analyze financial information and explain financial results clearly to management.

Multi-Company Accounting:

The position will involve accounting responsibilities for more than one legal entity. The candidate should be capable of:

- Maintaining proper accounting records separately for each company

- Preparing individual monthly financial statements for each entity

- Monitoring profitability and cash flow by business

- Preparing management reports for each company

- Preparing consolidated management reports when required

- Maintaining proper intercompany accounting and reconciliations

- Establishing strong accounting controls and reporting procedures

Medical Complex - Preferred Experience:

Experience in healthcare, hospitals, clinics, medical centers, dental centers, or similar service businesses will be considered a strong advantage. Relevant experience may include:

- Healthcare costing

- Service/procedure costing

- Cost-center accounting

- Departmental profitability

- Doctor profitability analysis

- Service profitability analysis

- Allocation of direct and indirect costs

- Medical supplies and inventory costing

- Revenue and expense analysis by department

- Budget versus actual analysis

- Management reporting for healthcare operations

Recruitment Company - Preferred Experience:

Experience in recruitment, manpower, outsourcing, staffing, or other service-based companies will also be an advantage. Relevant experience may include:

- Service revenue recognition

- Customer advances and deposits

- Worker-related receivables and payables

- Customer refunds

- Operational and recruitment expenses

- Supplier and agency payments

- Branch accounting

- Cost per recruitment/service

- Profitability analysis

- Management reporting

- Cash-flow monitoring

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Hands-on and technically strong

- Strong in both financial accounting and costing

- Able to independently manage the accounting function

- Comfortable working directly with management

- Capable of establishing and improving accounting procedures

- Able to identify accounting weaknesses and recommend solutions

- Experienced in handling multiple companies or business units

- Commercially minded and able to convert accounting information into useful management insights

This is not intended to be a purely supervisory position. The successful candidate should be comfortable working directly with accounting records, reconciliations, closing procedures, costing models, Excel analysis, and management reports. Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to external audit or taxation without strong hands-on accounting experience may not be suitable for this role.
