Purpose:
Chemco Plastic Industries Private Limited ("Chemco") is one of the largest rigid packaging manufacturers in the country. With a strong commitment to innovation and excellence, we have consistently achieved unparallel growth and success in the industry. As we continue to expand, we are seeking to hire an experienced, full time Assistant Manager for our Corporate Finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
Debt Raising and Finance Operations:
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, and information packages for banks and financial institutions.
- Coordinate pre- and post-sanction activities, including documentation review, security creation and compliance requirements, relating to working capital facilities, term loans and other credit facilities.
- Support treasury operations related to cash flow management, borrowings, debt management and supplier financing arrangements.
- Monitor utilization of credit facilities, drawing power, repayments, interest servicing, renewals and overall debt servicing obligations.
- Prepare and submit periodic information, reports and compliance documents required by banks, financial institutions and other stakeholders.
- Maintain financing records, loan documentation, security documents and debt schedules, and support periodic reviews and renewals of credit facilities.
- Support accounting and financial reporting related to debt instruments, borrowings and derivative transactions.
- Support accounting and financial reporting of debt instruments and derivative instruments in relation to debt.
Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination:
- Prepare treasury MIS, debt schedules, presentations and status reports for management review.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, consultants, legal advisors and internal stakeholders to support financing and treasury operations.
Ratings & Compliance:
- Coordinate with credit rating agencies for rating assignments, periodic surveillance and information submissions.
- Ensure routine banking, RBI (including FEMA) and lender compliance requirements are met.
Educational Qualification/ Soft Skills:
- 1-4 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, banking, credit or related functions, with exposure to working capital financing and/or term loans.
- Professionally qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). Candidates with prior articleship experience in a Big 4 accounting firm will be preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Job Specific Skills:
- Exposure to debt documentation, sanction processes, disbursements and post-disbursement compliance.
- Understanding of corporate treasury operations, cash flow management and debt servicing.
- Familiarity with banking products, credit facilities, security creation and charge registration.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements and financial data.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and SAP S/4HANA.
