This person will serve as the Technology leader for the India Chegg teams in Delhi and Vizag, reporting directly to the Divisional CTO. The major work is for Chegg's Study and Tutor teams - these teams work directly with their counterpart teams in the US (California and NY) so experience working across time zones, setting up the right process for optimal communication and throughput, and keeping the teams motivated and engaged is a must. The teams will also continue to grow, so hiring will also be a focus Requirements: - Experience managing and leading geographically distributed teams while working with counterparts in the US - Built/worked on systems that work across multiple centers across multiple geographical regions. - Strong mentoring abilities, proven record of growing engaged teams who deliver on time with great quality - Someone who can define and measure success in any endeavor. - Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication. - Experience architecting/building highly scalable, secure and available systems on cloud infrastructure. Qualifications: - BE or MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering. - 13+ years of Managing teams in India and working with the US - Passion for building highly scalable and highly available system on cloud infrastructure. - A quick thinker and problem solver.
