Key Responsibilities (KRA):

- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes including reconciliations and journal entries

- Lead and support external audits and provide necessary documentation and reconciliations

- Review accounting policies and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and operations for reporting accuracy

- Assist in implementation of new accounting standards and system improvements

- Support consolidation of financials for global entities and intercompany accounting

- Prepare and analyze variance reports, financial metrics, and other performance indicators

- Monitor changes in US GAAP and communicate implications to relevant stakeholders

- Coordinate with tax and regulatory consultants for accurate filings and reporting compliance

Required Skill Sets:

- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles

- Strong understanding of financial reporting, closing activities, and audit processes

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite

- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial tools

- Ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial analysis and reporting
