Chartered Accountant - UK Accounting & Taxation

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in UK Accounting and Taxation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, managing client deliverables, and leading a team of professionals to ensure compliance and efficiency across all UK accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and review the preparation of UK financial statements, tax computations, and compliance filings.

- Oversee the end-to-end accounting cycle, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.

- Handle corporate and individual tax returns as per UK standards (HMRC regulations).

- Supervise and mentor a team of 10 members, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and professional growth.

- Coordinate with clients to resolve accounting, taxation, and audit-related queries.

- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.

- Stay updated with changes in UK tax laws, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.

- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, UK taxation, and HMRC regulations.

- Excellent leadership, analytical, and client management skills.

- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar UK platforms.

- Strong communication and reporting abilities.

- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines.

Location: Ahmedabad.

Experience: Minimum 8 years.

Team Size Managed: 8-10 Members.

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).
