Chartered Accountant - Statutory Audit

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute end-to-end statutory audits for a diverse portfolio of clients to ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards and statutory requirements.

- Analyze complex financial data and internal control systems to identify risks and provide actionable recommendations for process improvement.

- Prepare and review detailed financial statements in accordance with IFRS and GAAP to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.

- Coordinate with client management teams to resolve audit queries and facilitate a smooth, timely audit closure process.

- Document audit findings and prepare comprehensive reports that provide stakeholders with clear insights into the financial health of the organization.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Statutory Audit procedures, including the ability to navigate complex financial reporting frameworks such as IFRS and GAAP.

- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies or potential risks within client accounts.

- Communicate complex financial concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and professional rapport.

- Maintain a high level of attention to detail while managing multiple audit engagements simultaneously within tight deadlines.

- Possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Kolkata, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional audit teams.

- Show a proactive approach to learning and adapting to evolving accounting standards and industry-specific regulatory changes.
