Chartered Accountant - Statutory Audit

Role & responsibility:

As a Statutory Auditor you will be part of the audit team performing external audit assignments in accordance with Indian and International standards. You will work on various sectors and industries, assisting senior team members in executing audit strategies and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute end-to-end statutory audit engagements for clients across industries.

- Perform detailed analysis and testing of financial transactions and balances.

- Assist in preparing audit documentation.

- Identify audit issues and discrepancies and bring them to the attention of senior auditors or managers.

- Understand and comply with relevant accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS) and regulatory requirements (Companies Act, ICAI Guidelines).

- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and resolve queries.

- Ensure timely completion of audits and proper documentation.

- Work in a team and support knowledge sharing and process improvement.

Key Skills and Competencies:

- Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards (Ind AS, AS, IFRS).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel and Word).

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

- Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant ONLY (depending on the specific role level).

- Articleship experience with a reputed CA firm or Big 6 (preferable)

Working Conditions:

- May require travel to client locations.

- Ability to work extra hours during peak periods.
