About the Company: NBFC operating in the lending and credit sector, specializing in structural finance solutions.
Profile Summary: We are seeking a diligent and proactive Accountant & Admin Officer. This role will primarily involve managing financial operations and records, regulatory compliance, and supporting general administrative functions of the company.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Finance:
- Maintain and manage company accounts, ledgers, and financial records in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other tax compliances, including filings and reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and fund management.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with RBI and NBFC-specific reporting requirements (e.g., returns, disclosures).
- Monitor disbursements, repayments, and accounting of loan portfolio.
- Liaise with banks, consultants, and other financial stakeholders.
2. Administration:
- Manage office administration, procurement, and vendor coordination.
- Maintain records of contracts, leases, insurances, and licenses.
- Coordinate HR documentation, payroll processing, and employee reimbursements.
- Oversee day-to-day office functions and ensure a smooth operational environment.
- Support compliance documentation and board meeting logistics.
Qualification & Skills:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in accounting, preferably in an NBFC/ financial services firm.
- Familiarity with NBFC/RBI compliance and reporting norms is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting/ ERP software.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
