Chartered Accountant - Internal Audit

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (fresher) to join our Internal Audit team. The role involves assisting in planning and executing internal audits, identifying control gaps, and providing recommendations to strengthen internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and evaluate internal control systems, processes, and procedures

- Perform risk assessments and identify key audit areas

- Document audit findings, prepare working papers, and draft audit reports

- Support in testing the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance

- Liaise with various departments to gather required information and clarify observations

- Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations

- Ensure adherence to audit timelines and standards

Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and audit procedures

- Basic understanding of Companies Act, Tax laws, and other applicable regulations

- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Good analytical, communication, and report-writing skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to travel for audit assignments (if required)
