Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Chartered Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial reporting and internal controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial processes. The person will be required to work in Australian time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

- Conduct regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.

- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns (corporate, VAT, GST, etc.), maintaining compliance with tax laws and regulations.

- Analyze financial data, including budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to identify trends, irregularities, and areas for improvement.

- Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions, and present findings to management and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Proficiency in financial reporting standards (IFRS, Ind AS, US GAAP).

- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

- CA Qualified

- Self-motivated, good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good command of both written and spoken English

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Chartered Accountancy designation from a recognized accounting body (e.g., ICAI).
