Chartered Accountant - Financial Reporting

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)- atleast 3 yrs PQE

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant with strong experience in Financial Reporting and Controllership to join our team on a 6-month contractual assignment. The ideal candidate will have solid technical expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS).

- Support controllership activities, including general ledger oversight, account reconciliations, and internal control processes.

- Ensure timely and accurate closing of books as per reporting timelines.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and internal audits.

- Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and provide insights on financial performance.

- Maintain strong documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Assist in process improvements, automation, and strengthening internal controls.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, business finance, taxation, and operations.

Required Skills & Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum 3 years PQE.

- Strong experience in financial reporting, controllership, and accounting operations.

- Solid understanding of Ind AS/IFRS, accounting principles, and month-end close processes.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite preferred).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently with high ownership and attention to detail.
