Role Overview:
This FP&A-CA Qualified-Immediate Joiner role is a critical position within the finance team, responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and analysis support to key stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration with various departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving informed decision-making and improving business performance through insightful financial analysis and reporting.
- Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by collaborating with department heads and
analyzing historical data and market trends.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and forecast, to provide insights into business performance.
- Conduct financial modeling and scenario planning to evaluate the potential impact of strategic initiatives and investment opportunities.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and the board of directors to communicate financial performance and strategic plans.
- Evaluate capital expenditure requests by performing financial analysis and assessing the return on investment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and analysis activities.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proven skills in financial modeling and variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Adaptability to work on-site in Chennai.
