Job Description:

Financial Controller (Chartered Accountant) BNC Global has been exclusively mandated to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Chartered Accountant to serve as a Financial Controller for an exciting and rewarding role with our esteemed client.

Location Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

Role & Responsibilities:

- The Financial Controller will be a key leader in the finance team, responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Financial Controllership and Reporting Oversee and manage all aspects of financial accounting, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset management. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS, IFRS). Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and present findings to senior management. Manage the annual audit process and act as the primary liaison with external auditors.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with departmental heads to develop comprehensive and realistic budgets. Develop and maintain rolling financial forecasts (e.g., quarterly, monthly) to anticipate financial performance and cash flow requirements. Monitor budget versus actual performance and provide detailed variance analysis and corrective recommendations.

3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including profitability analysis, cost control initiatives, and investment appraisals. Prepare and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts to optimize working capital management. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the business and industry.

4. Internal Controls & Compliance Establish, implement, and maintain strong internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Ensure complete compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements (e.g., GST, Income Tax, Companies Act). Manage tax planning and compliance activities.

Candidate Profile Essential Qualifications Education:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

- Experience: 2 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant finance function.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Proven experience in Financial Controllership and comprehensive financial reporting. Strong expertise in Budgeting and Forecasting processes.

- Demonstrable ability in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Excellent understanding of Internal Controls & Compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

- Preferred Attributes Candidates currently working or having prior experience in a CA Firm (Audit/Assurance/Taxation) will be strongly preferred.

- Prior experience in the Real Estate, Education, and/or Manufacturing sectors will be an added advantage.
