Chartered Accountant - Direct Taxation

Description: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

Work Experience: 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Direct Taxation and Litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Tax Compliance:

- Handle computations of income and tax return filings.

- Manage Income Tax assessments and departmental audits.

Litigation Support:

- Prepare and file appeals and written representations.

- Represent clients before various tax authorities, including CIT(A) and ITAT.

Advisory Services:

- Provide advisory support on direct tax planning and structuring.

- Stay updated on amendments and judicial pronouncements under the Income-tax Act.

Client Coordination:

- Liaise with clients and external counsel for litigation matters.

- Draft legal submissions and technical notes.

Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of the Income-tax Act, rules, and judicial precedents.

- Hands-on experience in assessments, appeals, and litigation support.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in CA firms or tax consulting.

- Familiarity with faceless assessment and appeal procedures.

- Ability to manage matters independently from initiation to resolution.

Working Conditions:

Working Days: 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday, with 2nd and 4th Saturday off).

Working Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
