Chartered Accountant - Controllership Function

Profile: Entire Controllership function

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 5 years post-qualification

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Period-End Close:

- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process in compliance with Ind AS and the Companies Act, 2013.

- Prepare and review financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and Notes to Accounts.

- Perform review of balance sheet schedules, and intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting.

- Coordinate with statutory auditors to ensure smooth and timely completion of quarterly and annual audits.

Fixed assets and right of use asset accounting:

- Own the Fixed Asset register including asset capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, and disposal accounting.

- Monitor CWIP ageing and ensure timely capitalization and closure of stores.

- Prepare Right-of-Use (ROU) asset and lease liability roll-forwards on a periodic basis.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of lease-related disclosures in financial statements in line with Ind AS 116 requirements.

Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Accounts Payable:

- Oversee the end-to-end P2P cycle including vendor onboarding, invoice accounting, three-way matching, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations.

- Ensure compliance with TDS regulations, MSME Act requirements, and other statutory obligations relating to vendor payments.

Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Accounts Receivable:

- Manage end-to-end accounting and ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition as per Ind AS.

- Compute and review Expected Credit Loss (ECL) provisions under Ind AS 109 and monitor DSO metrics and collection efficiency.
