Job Description: Chartered Accountant - Business Finance, CEO Support & Strategic Growth

Position Overview:

A dynamic organization seeks a seasoned Chartered Accountant to support the CEO in managing and overseeing the business across all verticals. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in business finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), cost optimization, and growth strategy formulation. This leadership role combines finalization of financial accounts with driving enterprise-wide initiatives for efficiency, profitability, and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the CEO to provide financial leadership, strategic analysis, and business insights across all business verticals, ensuring effective alignment of financial and business objectives.

- Create and lead the organization's growth strategy, leveraging financial analysis, market intelligence, and risk assessments to identify new business opportunities, drive expansion, and optimize performance.

- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A): manage budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis, supporting informed, data-driven decision-making.

- Oversee the finalization of books of accounts in accordance with statutory requirements and internal controls, driving timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Design, implement, and monitor cost-control initiatives, continuously identifying and executing cost-saving measures across the organization.

- Advise on capital allocation and working capital management across all business lines to support business growth and operational efficiency.

- Play a key role in board-level and cross-functional strategic planning, including new products, markets, M&A assessments, and investment proposals.

- Ensure full compliance with direct and indirect tax, regulatory, and audit requirements; interface with auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.

- Mentor and empower junior finance staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.

Desired Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience in business finance and strategic advisory roles.

- Demonstrated experience supporting CXOs or top management, with exposure to multiple business verticals and enterprise-wide projects.

- Proven capability to lead and execute growth strategies, supported by strong commercial acumen.

- In-depth knowledge of finalization of accounts, FP&A, cost and cash-flow management, and business strategy.

- Advanced proficiency in ERP/accounting software, Excel-based financial modeling, and translating financial analysis for business leaders.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills for coordinating with the CEO, board, and cross-functional teams.

- Strong track record in process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and delivering tangible business results.
