Chartered Accountant

We are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Fresher - Chartered Accountant for Mumbai location.

Position :- Manager - Accounts and Taxation.

Location : Mumbai

Qualification : Fresher Chartered Accountant with 4+ yrs of Experience.

Role:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:

- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in a timely and accurate manner.

- Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and notes to accounts) in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) applicable to NBFCs.

- Oversee all general ledger activities, including accounting for investment transactions, fair valuation.

- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting.

- Ensure robust internal financial controls (IFC) are in place and operating effectively.

2. Audit & Compliance:

- Act as the primary point of contact for statutory, internal, and RBI auditors.

- Plan and coordinate the entire audit process, ensuring all required data, schedules, and reports are prepared and submitted on time.

- Address audit queries effectively and facilitate a smooth and efficient audit completion.

- Ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations and improvements to financial processes.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory regulations, including GST, TDS, and RBI regulations.

3. Taxation & MIS:

- Oversee the computation and filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns and annual returns.

- Ensure accurate deduction and timely deposit of TDS and filing of TDS returns.

- Assist in providing data and support for income tax assessments and other tax-related matters.

- Prepare and present monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports, including portfolio performance, variance analysis, and key financial highlights for senior management.
