Role Overview:
- The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing channel sales strategies to expand the reach and market share of our IT hardware products.
- This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners, driving sales growth through effective channel programs, and ensuring partner alignment with company objectives.
- The individual will collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to optimize channel performance and achieve revenue targets. This role directly impacts the company's revenue growth and market penetration by effectively leveraging channel partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive channel sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market coverage.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage channel partners to ensure they are equipped to effectively represent and sell our IT hardware products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at channel partner organizations to foster long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular training sessions and product updates for channel partners to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
- Develop and execute channel marketing programs and incentives to drive sales and increase partner engagement.
- Monitor channel sales performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement to optimize channel effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align channel strategies with overall company objectives and marketing campaigns.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management to track progress and identify potential challenges.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful channel sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Proven expertise in building and managing relationships with channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and system integrators.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with partners and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess channel performance and identify areas for improvement.
- In-depth knowledge of IT hardware products and the IT sales landscape.
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
