
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and highly networked IFA Channel Head to lead, grow, and strengthen the Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) business vertical. The incumbent will be responsible for strategic acquisition, activation, and revenue generation through the IFA/Distributor channel while building long-term sustainable partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a robust national strategy for the IFA channel
- Drive AUM, revenue, and profitability through the IFA network
- Identify new markets and expansion opportunities for channel growth
- Strengthen relationship with top IFAs, MFDs, and wealth distributors
Business Development & Partner Acquisition
- Acquire high quality IFAs and large distribution partners
- Build a strong pipeline of active producers across regions
- Drive engagement programs, meetings, forums, and roadshows
- Onboard, train, and activate both new and dormant IFAs
Team Leadership & Management
- Build and lead regional IFA channel teams / RMs
- Monitor productivity and performance metrics
- Mentor, coach, and upskill the team for higher effectiveness
- Ensure team is aligned to revenue & activity goals
Product & Solutioning
- Drive cross-sell of Mutual Funds, PMS, AIF, Bonds, Structured Products & Insurance
- Work closely with Investment, Product, and Research teams
- Ensure IFAs are educated on products, market insights & client solutions
Process, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory norms
- Track business metrics, dashboards & MIS reports
- Ensure transparent, ethical, and sustainable business practices
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Wealth / Asset Management / AMC / Broking / PMS
- Strong and active IFA / MFD / Distributor network
- Proven track record of high AUM and revenue growth through channel
- Prior experience in heading or scaling a channel business
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
