Job Description:


Role Overview:


The Channel Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth across distribution and channel networks while managing end-to-end partner lifecycle, strengthening GTM effectiveness, and supporting expansion across markets. The role demands strong analytical, sales capability-building, and partner management skills.


Key Responsibilities:


Channel & Distribution Growth:


- Drive expansion of distribution and channel networks across assigned regions.


- Build and manage omni-channel strategies including B2B2C, e-commerce, B2B channels.


- Identify new markets and potential channel partners in collaboration with sales teams.


Partner Lifecycle & Operations:


- Manage onboarding, scaling, and performance of channel partners.


- Maintain overall hygiene, operational discipline, and performance health of partners.


- Run enablement initiatives such as incentive schemes, rewards, QBRs, and business planning.


Performance Improvement & Capability Building:


- Diagnose low-performing branches and implement corrective action plans.


- Train and build sales team capabilities to improve field effectiveness.


- Drive market expansion beyond existing territories.


Cross-functional Collaboration:


- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth channel operations.


- Monitor and maintain channel partner satisfaction and productivity.


Candidate Profile:


- MBA/PGDM from a premium B-school (Top 100 preferred).


- 5 to 10 years of experience in channel sales / distribution management.


- Exposure to GTM strategy is an added advantage.


- Strong in analytics, problem solving, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management.


- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.


- Age preferably not more than 35 years.


- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working cross-functionally.
