Chalo - Sr Manager/AVP/VP - Public Affairs & Government Business Job Role : - Working closely with the government for business development through tenders and Bid management - Working closely with the Government Stakeholders, and managing engagement with project stakeholders across local authorities, State Government and Central Government to establish strong working relationships - Development and successful delivery of stakeholder engagement plans in accordance with the stakeholder engagement strategy - Mapping Government stakeholders, preparing communications material, and responding to Government inquiries - Work collaboratively with other members of the project team, providing guidance and directing their workload activities to ensure project timelines and requirements are met - Arrange and attend government meetings and ensure feedback of stakeholder responses and requests to technical teams are responded to within agreed timescales - Ensure accurate audit trail is maintained of all government engagement and all contact/activities are recorded on the stakeholder database Criteria : - Experience in Government business development through tender, RFPs - Experience in developing and successfully implementing government engagement plans - Prepare responses/ narratives speedily / drafting formal letters and other communication materials, as per the situation need - Strong people management and Good interpersonal and networking skills, highly articulate team player - Data management skills - Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex environments - Use personal initiative - Ability to schedule work and deliver to a tight deadline
