Role Overview

The Business Head - Chalo Buses will own the end-to-end P&L for the Chalo Buses vertical. This is a senior leadership role responsible for revenue growth, cost optimisation, city-level performance, and long-term business sustainability.

The role requires a strong blend of strategy, execution, stakeholder management, and on-ground operational leadership, with the ability to build and scale businesses in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end P&L for the Chalo Buses business.

- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and unit economics.

- Define and execute the business strategy and growth roadmap.

- Oversee operations, ensuring service quality and efficiency.

- Partner with Ops, Product, Tech, and Supply to improve execution and scale.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in business leadership roles with clear P&L ownership.

- Prior experience in mobility, transportation, logistics, infrastructure, energy, or operations-heavy businesses preferred.

- Demonstrated success in scaling multi-city or multi-location operations.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong financial acumen with deep understanding of unit economics and cost structures.

- Ability to operate at both strategy and execution levels.
