
About the role
Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed ZBC/Should be cost for all components with the help of CFT.
- Negotiate with vendors and create agreements to safeguard the company's interest in longer-term.
- Collaborate closely with research and development teams in DFM for new concepts.
- Indigenization of critical high-value components to reduce the cost in the long term and maintain the competitive edge.
- Hedging the supplier hold-up risk by building the right supplier network redundancy.
- Responsible for implementing, reviewing and supporting the development of vendor risk framework and strong operating rhythms to conduct periodic risk assessments.
What youll need
- Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of the supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Prior experience in emission control space would be an added advantage.
- Financial analysis know-how.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience working in a start-up/ multi-location manufacturing organization is a plus.
Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with emission control systems.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Work experience in dealing with overseas vendors will be beneficial.
- 2+ years of direct experience with International procurement.
