Chaayos - Director - Sourcing & Procurement

Role Overview:

- Lead the end-to-end sourcing and procurement strategy across F&B, agri products, perishables, grains, packaging, raw materials, services and CAPEX.

- Own COGS, cost optimization, OTIF and quality across sourcing categories.

- Drive commodity price monitoring, cost reduction and procurement budgeting.

Requirements:

- Strong hands-on experience in Dairy, Perishables and Grains is mandatory.

- Exposure to IT and CAPEX sourcing is mandatory.

- Experience in multi-geography sourcing and procurement across India.

- Proven experience in vendor identification, development, negotiation, onboarding and long-term contracting.

- Build and manage vendor performance scorecards covering cost, quality and delivery.

- Partner closely with S&OP, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Operations, Quality and NPD teams.

- Drive demand planning and inventory optimization to minimize stock-outs and overstocking.

- Lead strategic initiatives around outsourcing, contract manufacturing, warehousing and supply-chain partnerships.

- Enable agile sourcing for NPD launches, ensuring speed, quality and cost effectiveness.

- Ensure adherence to food safety, quality and regulatory requirements across sourced materials.

Team Leadership:

- Must have managed a team of 4 - 5+ members.

- Strong stakeholder management and commercial negotiation skills with the ability to operate at a strategic and hands-on level.
