CGI - Business Analyst - Logistics & Ocean Freight

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong Logistics/Ocean Freight domain knowledge to work on business transformation and technology initiatives related to container shipping, vessel operations, equipment management, and shipment tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.

- Understand and document container shipping and ocean freight processes.

- Work on booking management, equipment management, vessel operations, and shipment event tracking.

- Analyze container lifecycle from booking through delivery.

- Understand vessel schedules, terminal operations, and inland transportation processes.

- Prepare BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Create process flows, ER diagrams, and data models.

- Coordinate with business, product, development, and QA teams.

- Conduct and support UAT, including test scenarios, defect tracking, and business sign-off.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.

- Perform data analysis using SQL.

- Manage stakeholder communication and resolve requirements-related issues.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Strong hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in Logistics/Ocean Shipping/Container Shipping.

- Good understanding of end-to-end ocean freight processes.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
