OPPORTUNITY BRIEF  - CFO level opportunity available for strictly real estate industry professionals with an ambitious professional set up undertaking an INR 1500 crore large mixed use project. It is a senior level management position with high degree of independent decision making and professionalism. Candidate is expected to be capable of assuming complete responsibility of all essential division functions.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Typical duties will include but not be limited to the following:  Strategic Planning:   - Develop the company's future direction and support strategic initiatives   - Support in implementation of strategic business plans and manage the budgeting process  - Develop financial and tax strategies to ensure efficient corporate tax structures are in place  Finance and Audit:   - Responsible for managing all accounting and finance related activities within the organization and ensuring there is discipline in budgeting and expenditure.   - Supervise the preparation of financial information. Timely closing of book of accounts.  - Review and approve all financial results and report it to the board of directors   - Co-ordinate with external auditors to ensure timely audits and compliance  Investor Relations:   - Maintain Investor relationships   Operational Activities:   - Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team   - Manage the accounting, investor relations, tax, and treasury functions   - Manage any third parties and vendor relationship   - Oversee the company's transaction processing systems  Vendor selection and arriving at an optimal procurement strategy  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE   Education: C.A preferably with CS/LLB qualification  Experience:  - Seasoned finance professional with 12+ years of experience   - Knowledge and experience in financial management, accounting, budgeting and cost control and knowledge of Indian accounting standards  - Good communication & influencing skills  - Good people manager with the right attitude to be part of the executive team of a high potential start-up. - Strong collaborative and team skills  - Ability to work in entrepreneurial environment and provide hands on leadership  Essential experience:   - Experience as head of F&A department for at least 5 years for a real estate development company with an annual turnover of at least INR 100 crores  - Strong relationships with financial institutions and experience of managing fund raising activities from especially banks and NBFCs
