CFO Designate - Corporate Finance

Role Overview:

As a core member of the executive leadership team, the CFO-Designate will be responsible for enterprise-wide financial stewardship, corporate strategy, financial planning & analysis, commercial governance, investor relations, taxation, audit and compliance, and will actively partner with the incumbent CFO to ensure a seamless leadership transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Transition & Succession Planning:

- Partner closely with the incumbent CFO to understand existing processes, systems and strategic priorities; lead a phased transition into the CFO role over an agreed timeframe.

Strategic Finance Leadership:

- Own long-term financial planning, budgeting and forecasting aligned to business growth; support the CEO and Board on expansion, M&A evaluation and funding strategy.

Commercial & Operational Finance:

- Strengthen site-level and business-unit financial controls; lead profitability, cost rationalisation and working capital initiatives across a multi-location operating model.

Compliance, Taxation & Risk:

- Ensure robust statutory, tax and audit compliance; implement governance frameworks across finance operations and reporting.

Investor & Stakeholder Engagement:

- Represent the organisation credibly at Board and investor meetings; maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors and financial institutions.

Technology & Digitisation of Finance:

- Drive finance automation and analytics in partnership with IT/Digital teams, enabling data-driven decision-making enterprise-wide.
