The Role:

We are expanding our Mumbai team and are seeking experienced CFOs to join us in delivering high-impact Fractional CFO services to growing businesses.

Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking commercially driven finance leaders who combine strong technical expertise with the ability to influence business outcomes.

This role is particularly suited to individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoy building relationships, generating opportunities, and partnering directly with business owners to drive performance and growth.

While Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred, we are ultimately looking for individuals who can demonstrate a proven track record of leadership, business growth, client relationship management, and delivering tangible commercial results.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver strategic Fractional CFO services to SME clients.

- Focus on growth, profitability, and business performance.

- Improve cash flow management, financial planning, business forecasting, and support fundraising, investor readiness, acquisitions, and exit planning.

- Build client relationships, collaborate with colleagues, contribute to marketing, and generate new client opportunities.

Skills & Experience:

1. Essential Requirements:

- Based in Mumbai.

- Minimum 3-4 years experience operating as a CFO within an established business.

- Strong commercial and strategic finance background.

- Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and inspire teams.

- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.

- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.

2. Preferred Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

- Demonstrated success in business development and client acquisition.

- Experience building, scaling, or leading business units, divisions, or teams.

- Established professional network and local market relationships.

- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.

- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by SME business owners.

- Experience delivering strategic financial leadership beyond traditional finance and reporting functions.
