Position: Finance Advisory & ESG

Qualification (Mandatory):

Chartered Accountant (CA) or CFA (Level II/III or Qualified)

Role Overview:

We are looking for an Engagement Manager who can independently lead finance advisory engagements while supporting clients on ESG and sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial expertise with business acumen, stakeholder management, and a solid understanding of evolving ESG frameworks. This role involves partnering with founders, leadership teams, and investors to improve financial performance, strengthen governance, support strategic initiatives, and enable sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Finance Advisory & Business Partnering:

- Act as a trusted finance advisor to leadership teams.

- Partner with founders and CXOs on strategic financial decision-making.

- Drive profitability improvement, working capital optimization, and cash flow management.

- Recommend process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Prepare and review MIS, financial reports, and management dashboards.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning exercises.

- Build financial models, scenario analyses, and business forecasts.

- Analyze business performance and present actionable recommendations.

3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

- Monitor liquidity and cash flow.

- Develop rolling cash flow forecasts.

- Improve receivables, payables, and overall working capital efficiency.

4. Compliance & Governance:

- Ensure compliance with accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.

- Support governance initiatives and strengthen internal financial controls.

- Coordinate with auditors and external consultants.

5. ESG & Sustainability (Mandatory):

- Support organizations in implementing ESG and sustainability initiatives.

- Assist in ESG data collection, reporting, and governance reviews.

- Work on BRSR reporting, sustainability reporting, and ESG compliance.

- Stay updated with evolving ESG regulations and reporting frameworks.

- Support ESG due diligence and investor reporting where required.

6. Stakeholder Management:

- Build strong relationships with founders, CXOs, investors, and senior stakeholders.

- Lead multiple engagements simultaneously while ensuring high-quality delivery.

- Mentor junior team members and review their work.

Must Have:

- CA or CFA qualification.

- 3-5 years of experience in Finance Advisory, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory, Business Finance, or CFO Advisory.

- Hands-on experience in ESG reporting, BRSR, Sustainability Reporting, Governance, or ESG Consulting.

- Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge.

- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.

- Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

- Strong understanding of GST, Companies Act, FEMA, RBI regulations, and corporate governance.

- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
