The Manager Resolution & Recovery


The Manager Resolution & Recovery will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition, resolution, and recovery of stressed assets in compliance with RBI guidelines. The role demands strong knowledge of financial structuring, legal frameworks, and stakeholder engagement to effectively drive recoveries, manage investor relationships, and maximize value realization from non-performing assets (NPAs).


Key Responsibilities:


- Source and evaluate acquisition opportunities of stressed assets through market intelligence and relationships with banks/FIs.


- Undertake due diligence, valuation, and structuring of acquisition proposals.


- Formulate and implement resolution strategies including restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, settlements, and enforcement actions.


- Drive recovery actions in line with applicable laws such as SARFAESI, IBC, and DRT.


- Manage enforcement processes, including possession, sale, and auction of secured assets.


- Coordinate with legal counsel for initiating and monitoring litigation for recovery.


- Ensure full compliance with RBIs prudential norms and ARC regulatory framework.


- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for audits, legal proceedings, and investor reporting.


- Liaise with legal teams for NCLT/DRT/SARFAESI proceedings.


- Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, and external advisors.


- Prepare and present reports and proposals to investors and internal stakeholders.


- Act as a point of contact for external stakeholders regarding resolution strategies and recovery progress.


- Leverage network to generate deal flow and resolution partnerships.


- Build relationships with key decision-makers in banks, NBFCs, PEs, and legal/enforcement agencies.


Candidate Profile:


- A professional qualification in Finance (CA/MBA/ICWA/CFA).


- Additional qualification in Law (LLB/LLM) will be an added advantage.


- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the Stressed Asset Resolution or Recovery domain.


- At least 4 years of dedicated experience in ARC/NPA resolution environment.


- Hands-on exposure to enforcement mechanisms including SARFAESI, NCLT/IBC, and DRT processes.


- Deep understanding of stressed asset lifecycle and recovery strategies.


- Strong negotiation, analytical, and structuring skills.


- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


- Strong networking within banks, FIs, funds, NBFCs, and legal circles.


- Knowledge of judicial/quasi-judicial forums and their functioning.


- Age: Not more than 40 years (relaxable for exceptional candidates).
