About the role : The employee in this role will be responsible for leading the operations of the Incubation centre and will manage Startups across multiple programs. Key Responsibilities : - Planning the activities, resources, budgets and operations for various incubation and acceleration programs and the physical incubation centre at Indore. - Develop and execute engagement strategy for the entire community including donors, startups, investors, corporates, mentors, advisors, and domain experts. - Provide continued strategic guidance to entrepreneurs in areas such as business modeling, sales, and marketing, financing, fundraising, overall strategy, operations etc. - Be responsible for generation of startup deal flow for investments, Incubation and Acceleration programs, screening of applications, selection, supporting startups through external and internal mentoring resources and relevant connections as per program mandate. - Portfolio Management for investee startups. - Events and workshops: Plan and execute various workshops/events for the Incubation centre to engage local ecosystem. - Forge partnerships with other organizations for providing services to the incubates; prepare proposals for new programs and reaching out to Corporates and Government agencies for programs. - Marketing the Incubator and business development: Be the face of the Incubator and actively promote it through various channels etc. - Managing the Incubation team and the day-to-day interaction with the Incubates - Ensure timely reporting to all stakeholders Key Skills/Abilities : - Ability to articulate new and complex ideas - Ability to evaluate new and complex ideas - Strong articulation with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Understanding of the early-stage startup support and investment ecosystem - Previous experience of preparing decks, teasers, one pagers for stakeholder management - Ability to work with a team on sectoral thesis as required - Ability to work with Portfolio companies in providing full scale support Qualification/Experience Required : - Graduate/Post Graduate in any field - 8-10 years of professional experience - At least 2 to 3 years of work experience in a related field, (e.g., early-stage VC, entrepreneurship, management consulting, etc.) ideally with a background in incubation, startup co-founder or management consulting - Extremely passionate and excited by the intersection of large markets and emerging technologies - Well versed with a good business toolkit and strong critical thinking skills - has a strong grasp of technology and tech business models - Experience of proposal development and budget preparation
