Category Supply Chain Manager - FMCG

Job Summary:

- We are looking for an experienced Category Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain planning and execution for key FMCG categories. The role involves forecasting, demand planning, inventory optimization, supplier coordination, and ensuring high product availability while minimizing costs.

- The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in FMCG operations, and the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the end-to-end supply chain for assigned FMCG categories.

- Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.

- Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centers.

- Work closely with procurement to ensure timely supplier ordering and replenishment.

- Coordinate with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth product flow.

- Monitor stock movement, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.

- Analyze supply chain data to improve service levels, fill rates, and forecast accuracy.

- Manage NPD (New Product Development) supply chain readiness for new launches.

- Reduce supply chain costs through improved planning and vendor management.

- Implement SOPs, dashboards, and reports for operational efficiency.
