Category Manager | Studded Jewellery
About the Role: You will focus on delivering exceptional sales and margins for the sub groups of Studded jewellery group. As we rapidly expand you will be responsible for building relevant product portfolio, keeping the customers always at the center of all decisions you take. You will be responsible for the right mix of assortment for stores & vendors, smart pricing, driving margin improvements and operating within strict goals around inventory turns.
Responsibilities
This person will have responsibility for:
- Top line & Gross Margin: Ensure sub groups delivers top line and gross margin as per the annual plan
- Product Portfolio: Build product portfolio in line with brand ethos & business goals keeping the evolving customer need and aspirations at center.
- New Products & Collections: Planning new products and collections as per annual plan.
- Driving efficiency: Inventory turns, OTB and aged stock management. Operate within inventory budgets and drive efficiency for the category. Ensure that the aged stock within the predefined limits and provisions.
- Assortment & distribution: Build systematic processes to build and evolve market specific assortment plans to deliver maximum sales and inventory efficiency.
- Pricing: Responsible for pricing strategy for the category so that we can offer customers the best value, value being a combination of price and any convenience. Candidate will also be
responsible for using pricing as a lever to ensure profitability.
- Business planning: Develop a short-term and long-term plan for growth on the state of key topline and bottom-line metrics and risk factors.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sourcing, Design, Retail, Marketing & VM team to ensure availability, cost optimization, quality, availability of new products and collections as per plan, support marketing campaigns. sufficient visibility of products in-store, online & digital platforms, drive retail sales through effective training content, knowledge and drive among sales staff.
- Systems & Processes: Invent, build and drive continuous process improvement, automation across our systems to allow us to scale a fast-growing business.

- Graduate in any discipline with MBA/ B Des / Fashion management from reputed institutes
