Category Manager - Procurement

We are seeking a highly driven and analytical Category Manager - Procurement to lead end- to- end category management, sourcing strategy, and supplier partnerships across assigned spend areas. The role involves developing and executing category strategies, driving cost optimization, ensuring supplier performance, and supporting business growth through strategic procurement initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage strong market insights, negotiation expertise, and cross- functional collaboration to deliver value, quality, and sustainability in procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business goals.

- Conduct market analysis, identify sourcing opportunities, and manage supplier relationships.

- Drive cost savings, process improvements, and contract compliance.

- Partner with cross- functional teams (finance, operations, legal, and business units) to meet sourcing requirements.

- Monitor supplier performance, risk, and sustainability metrics.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree (MBA or specialization in Supply Chain / Operations preferred).

- 6- 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management.

- Proven track record of vendor negotiation, contract management, and spend optimization.

- Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
