About the Role:
We are looking for an Assistant Manager Category (Footwear) who will act as the business owner for the footwear category on our e-commerce platform. The role includes driving sales, managing brand performance, improving customer experience, and running strategic category initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Category Sales:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve key site metrics including conversion %, AOV, and revenue.
- Own top-line targets and manage budgets to deliver category P&L goals.
- Align website content with monthly/seasonal promotions and marketing objectives.
Brand Performance Management:
- Secure margins in line with organizational guidance.
- Negotiate budgets, set goals, and monitor brand performance.
- Plan & execute brand campaigns, ensuring awareness and recognition targets are met.
- Report on performance through approved dashboards and metrics.
Customer Experience & Retention:
- Drive banner revenue and customer engagement through segmentation and targeted initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer retention.
- Analyze user behavior across channels and improve category-level customer journeys.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Category Management, preferably in Footwear / Fashion / E-commerce
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint
- Ability to work cross-functionally with brands, ops, marketing & product teams
- Experience in managing category P&L is preferred
