
Develop/execute strategies for a the company's product range (fashion/lifestyle category)
Manage cross-functional team collaboration (marketing, supply chain) to ensure the category's success from product lifecycle to market performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop long-term category strategies aligned with business goals, setting KPIs and achieving sales/profit targets.
- Market Analysis: Research fashion trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to find opportunities and threats.
- Assortment Management: Curate and optimize product selections, including new product forecasting and discontinuations, according to business needs.
- Pricing & Promotion: Set pricing strategies and plan promotional activities to maximize appeal and profitability.
- Production Management: Negotiate with factory/production/quality/supplychainteams for productspecifications, pricing, and product quality.
- Inventory Control: Work with supply chain to manage stock levels, preventing stockouts and overstock.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, merchandising, and operations teams to execute plans.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales data, report on category performance, and make data-driven adjustments.
