Role Overview
We are looking for a Builder + Operator to own the end-to-end merchant partner ecosystem for banking and enterprise clients in India. You will lead the strategy and execution of merchant-funded offer programsfrom onboarding and commercial structuring to operational delivery and performance governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ecosystem Build: Own the onboarding and management of a high-impact merchant portfolio across dining, travel, lifestyle, and wellness.
- Banking & Card Programs: Design and execute card-linked offer constructs (BIN-based, MCC-based, spend-based) for credit, debit, and prepaid networks.
- Commercial Leadership: Negotiate funding models, revenue shares, and partnership agreements to optimize margins and redemption curves.
- Operational Governance: Define SOPs for onboarding, launch, and uptime; lead mystery audits and QA scoring to ensure banking-grade compliance.
- Team Leadership: Build and scale a high-performing partnerships team, owning targets for coverage, utilization, and revenue.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: 4+ years in Merchant Partnerships, Ecosystem Management, or Loyalty Platforms.
- Domain Expertise: Proven track record in designing merchant-funded offer programs specifically for banks, card networks, or enterprise clients.
- Full Lifecycle Ownership: Hands-on experience managing the merchant lifecyclefrom initial KYB and commercial negotiation to campaign execution and renewal.
- Technical Familiarity: Deep understanding of card-linked constructs, including BIN/MCC-based campaigns and spend-based promotions.
- Background: Preferred experience in Fintech, Banking Partnerships, or Loyalty Ecosystems.
Note: This role requires experience in customizing merchant-funded offers. Profiles focused solely on selling POS machines or standardized prepaid cards will not be considered.
