Job Description:
We are hiring, a category lead - food business, for one of our clients, in Gurgaon . if you are looking for a key role in scaling a high-growth brand, this could be an interesting opportunity for you.
They are looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for driving growth and innovation, to further building their leading consumer brand, and drive the food category.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L Ownership: - Lead the Profit & Loss for the category, driving revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
- Strategic Leadership: - Define and execute the growth strategy for the category, including assortment planning, pricing, inventory management, and multi-channel marketing (online, retail, quick commerce).
- Cross-functional Collaboration: - Partner with R&D, Supply Chain, Brand Marketing, and Distribution to ensure seamless execution and strong P&L outcomes across all channels.
- Data-Driven Insights: - Leverage performance metrics, consumer data, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize category performance.
What You Need:
- 6-8 years of experience in category management, business strategy, or revenue growth, ideally in D2C, FMCG, or Quick Commerce.
- Proven track record of P&L ownership and delivering business growth.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in forecasting, data analysis, and financial modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of digital consumer behavior, content strategy, and marketing execution.
