About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Category Manager / Senior Category Manager to lead our Electronics category, one of the most strategic and high-growth verticals for the company. This role demands a mix of strong business acumen, analytical ability, negotiation skills, and an understanding of consumer behavior in the electronics segment.

You will own the P&L, drive assortment strategy, develop brand partnerships, and ensure a seamless customer experience across the category.

Key Responsibilities:

- Category Ownership: End-to-end ownership of the Electronics category - managing assortment, pricing, promotions, and profitability.

- P&L Management: Drive top-line growth, manage margins, and deliver on category-level revenue and contribution targets.

- Brand & Vendor Management: Build and nurture strategic relationships with key electronics brands and distributors; negotiate terms and ensure best-in-class availability and pricing.

- Assortment Planning: Identify gaps and opportunities in the catalog; ensure a relevant and competitive product mix aligned with consumer trends.

- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics and insights to optimize pricing, inventory turns, and customer experience.

- Marketing & Merchandising: Partner with marketing, design, and product teams to drive visibility, campaigns, and conversions for the category.

- Customer Experience: Continuously monitor performance metrics such as delivery SLAs, product ratings, and returns to enhance customer satisfaction.

What Were Looking For:

- 610 years of experience in category management / business management, preferably in e-commerce, consumer electronics, or retail.

- Proven track record of managing large P&L and driving growth in a competitive marketplace environment.

- Strong understanding of the electronics ecosystem brands, consumer trends, pricing, and technology adoption cycles.

- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong bias for action, data orientation, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setup.

- MBA or equivalent from a Tier-1/Tier-2 institute preferred.
