Category Head - Private Label:

Location: Bangalore

About the Role:

We are looking for a Category Head - Private Label to lead end-to-end category strategy, sourcing, and commercial management for a leading consumer food business. The role requires a commercially driven leader who can build and scale private label categories while driving innovation, cost optimization, and business growth.

Ideal Candidate:

- Strong background in FMCG, consumer internet, quick commerce, e-commerce, or retail organizations.

- Demonstrated experience in category management, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and commercial negotiations.

- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to challenge product specifications, sourcing strategies, and cost structures.

- Experience launching and scaling private label products across multiple categories.

Preferred Background:

- Experience managing food and/or non-food private label categories.

- MBA from a Tier 1 B-school is strongly preferred.
