Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Strategy & P&L Ownership:
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term business strategies.
- Own and manage complete P&L for the assigned business/category.
- Drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and cost optimization.
- Identify new market opportunities, product expansions, and partnerships.
2. Sales & Distribution Management:
- Lead national/regional sales strategy across GT, MT, E-commerce, and Modern Trade channels.
- Strengthen distribution network and improve market penetration.
- Monitor sales performance, forecasting, and achievement of targets.
- Build strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
3. Marketing & Brand Development:
- Oversee brand strategy, positioning, and consumer engagement initiatives.
- Drive product launches, pricing strategy, promotions, and trade marketing.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights.
- Ensure alignment between brand, sales, and supply chain strategies.
4. Operations & Supply Chain Oversight:
- Collaborate with supply chain to ensure product availability and inventory optimization.
- Improve operational efficiencies and reduce wastage.
- Ensure timely demand planning and forecasting accuracy.
5. Financial & Performance Management:
- Monitor budgets, financial performance, and key business KPIs.
- Drive profitability improvements and cost control initiatives.
- Present business performance to senior leadership/board.
6. Leadership & Team Management:
- Build and mentor high-performing sales and marketing teams.
- Foster a performance-driven and accountable culture.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across departments.
