Job Description:
- Business Growth Role
- The role primarily focuses on business growth, and candidates with a background in e commerce are preferred.
- Preferred candidates should have experience with D2C platforms or leading E- commerce channels
Job responsibilities:
- Be the Leader of one of our fastest growing and exciting Category/Brand
- Owns the financials to deliver the Sales, Costs and Margins target
- Develops short-term and long-term brand, marketing & category strategy to achieve growth, bring assortments and develop new product(s)
- Collaborates with the cross functional team (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, E-commerce etc) to execute the strategy
- Analyses internal and external data and information to determine industry, competition benchmarking, consumer insights & trends etc.
- Liaises closely with the company's sales team to conceptualize GTM, enabling team to meet their commercial objectives by providing team with appropriate training, tools, materials and presentations
- Coaches and develops the team nurturing the talent for future
Requirements:
- Master's degree is preferred from Tier 1 B-school
- 3+ years of experience in consumer-facing sectors such as Retail, FMCG, E commerce
- Strong business acumen backed by understanding of the different levers in a category P&L
- Demonstrated ability to translate & execute strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities
- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
- Proven experience in leading & collaborating effectively & efficiently with the cross functional teams
- Ability to think and react in a high-energy & fast-paced environment
