About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Category Head to lead the endto-end ownership of a highgrowth category. This role requires strong commercial acumen, analytical depth, and the ability to drive assortment, pricing, promotions, and margin strategy while collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Category Ownership

- Build and manage the complete category portfolio, including assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and margin optimization.

Vendor & Partner Management

- Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers and brand partners to ensure competitive pricing, reliable availability, and a differentiated assortment.

Assortment & Fulfillment Planning

- Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels, high availability, and strong fulfillment SLAs.

DataDriven Decision Making

- Track category performance, contribution margins, and sellthrough rates to optimize product mix and working capital.

Online Business Focus

- Strengthen the ecommerce channel through demand planning, pricing analytics, platform merchandising, and digital category growth initiatives.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

- Partner with marketing, technology, finance, and operations teams to execute growth plans, campaigns, and categoryspecific strategies.

Qualifications:

- 68 years of experience in category management, merchandising, or related roles.

- Experience leading category strategy in fastpaced environments.

Required Skills:

- Prior experience in quick commerce, ecommerce, FMCG, or retail environments.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance growth, margins, and inventory efficiency.

- Handson analytical skills with comfort using data for pricing, promotions, forecasting, and product strategy.

- Ability to work crossfunctionally and influence stakeholders across teams.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management capabilities.
