Our Client: A well-established market leader in e-retailing, they are one of the most well-known businesses in their sector and have a fantastic reputation for continued growth and development for their revenues and for their staff and a genuine "credit where credit's due" attitude. They are expanding into new verticals / categories and need passionate, growth and expansion minded young team players to take ownership of these new verticals. The requirement is for 06 such positions within the company given the rapid expansion into new categories. The starting date is in June/July/August, depending on the location. Objective: Your key objective as E-Commerce Manager would be to stimulate the sales and profitability for the client's new category & product lines. You would be expected to use a variety of acquisition and retention initiatives, particularly E-commerce, direct and digital methods. You would also need to ensure that the E-commerce platform and offering provided for their customers is fully optimised to attract and convert as much traffic as possible. You must be a self-motivated marketing specialist; independent, driven and with leadership potential. There is a fantastic opportunity for these individuals to grow their current skillset in this role and real progression opportunities moving forward. Some travel will be required and while work from home concessions can be made, you will be primarily office-based. Key Responsibilities: - Shape & Control the company's E-commerce strategy for your vertical. - Deliver and manage an annual and seasonal online marketing plan, - Ensure that other aspects of Marketing are supported by the website activity, - Build and implement customer acquisition and retention strategies, - Oversee the company websites, - Gaining industry knowledge to influence future business and advertising strategies, - Building effective stakeholder relationships, - Ensuring familiarisation with company products, Experience and Professional attributes required: - Work Experience 2-5 years. - Marketing and e-commerce experience is desirable but not essential, - A sales & Marketing oriented post graduation degree / MBA will be an asset, - Variety of software experience; Magento in particular would be beneficial - Confident and professional demeanour, - Accuracy and attention to detail, - Excellent communications skills, - Solid team player who thrives in a team environment.
