Role Overview

We are hiring Category Brand Managers to drive brand strategy, category growth, and end-to-end P&L ownership for a fast-paced consumer business in the beauty category.

This role is ideal for high-potential brand professionals who can combine consumer insights, data-driven decision-making, and strong execution to scale categories across offline and/or e-commerce channels.

You will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, supply chain, and product teams to build winning beauty brands.

Key Responsibilities:

Category & Brand Strategy:

- Own and drive end-to-end category strategy for assigned beauty segments.

- Define brand positioning, growth roadmap, and go-to-market plans.

- Translate consumer insights and market trends into winning category initiatives.

P&L Ownership & Commercial Performance:

- Own category-level P&L, including revenue, margins, and profitability.

- Drive pricing strategy, promotional planning, and portfolio optimization.

- Track performance vs targets and implement corrective actions.

Growth, Launches & Execution:

- Lead new product launches, renovations, and line extensions.

- Drive category growth across online (e-commerce/D2C) and offline channels.

- Partner with marketing teams on campaigns, activations, and visibility plans.

Consumer Insights & Analytics:

- Leverage consumer data, sales analytics, and performance dashboards to guide decisions.

- Monitor KPIs such as market share, sell-through, contribution margins, and ROI.

- Use insights to optimize assortment, pricing, and marketing investments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with marketing, sales, supply chain, finance, and product development teams.

- Ensure strong execution across channels and touchpoints.

- Act as the single point of ownership for category-level decision-making.

Key Performance Areas (KRAs):

- Category revenue growth and market share

- P&L performance and margin improvement

- Success of product launches and innovations

- ROI on marketing and trade investments

- Consumer engagement and brand health metrics

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Must-Have:

- Strong Category / Brand P&L exposure, specifically in the Beauty category

- Experience with consumer brands (e-commerce / D2C preferred)

- Proven ability to drive category growth using consumer insights and data

- Strong commercial and analytical mindset

Good-to-Have:

- Experience in fast-growing or startup consumer environments

- Exposure to omnichannel retail (online + offline)

- Prior involvement in innovation or product launch projects

Skills & Competencies:

- Strategic thinking with strong execution capability

- Data-driven decision-making and business acumen

- Strong stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration
